Dan Tsuji
Director
Dan is deeply passionate about volleyball, and it has been a defining part of his life. He has coached on the Sunshine Coast since 2008, contributing to programs such as Team BC and the BC Summer Games. Since 2009, he has also led the Sunshine Coast Beach Volleyball Club.
Dan co-founded the Powerwest Volleyball Club in West Vancouver and the West Van Volleyball Academy. His playing and coaching career also includes time at S.A.I.T. in Calgary, as well as supporting the men’s junior national team in Seoul and Daejeon, South Korea.

Beth Nanson
Beth has played volleyball since elementary school and went on to captain every team she was part of. In grade 12, she helped lead Elphi to a championship banner and competed with BCO Volleyball Club. At the end of her senior year, her playing career ended abruptly after a broken ankle at provincials—but now she’s back on the court—this time as a coach—ready to share her experience, leadership, and passion for the game.

Christie Man
Christie brings 8 years of personal volleyball experience to SCVC, including coaching. She trained with University players while in high school and belonged to a Provincial Champion team. With much hard work and love for volleyball she had earned MVP status as a setter but flourished as a Libero in her later years.
She believes volleyball is a skill you develop over time and a sport you must play with your heart, mind and soul whether on and off the court.
